Most of us will have experienced physical pain at some point in our lives. From lower back pain, osteoarthritis, neck pain and migraines, to more complex conditions such as fibromyalgia, IBS and endometriosis, pain slows us down and can stop us completely in our tracks. It can restrict movement, affect our home life, our work life. It can be acute, or chronic, make us feel miserable and it can be hard for others to understand just how debilitating it can be.
So if we can alter the way in which we perceive pain, we can experience less inflammation, muscle and joint stiffness and where appropriate, the need for prescribed medications. We can do more with our families, return to work and regain our quality of life.
“I’ve suffered from an arthritic for the past 20 years and occasional bursitis, for which I would normally have a steroid injection. Because of COVID, this is not advised and on the suggestion of a friend I began to look for an acupuncturist who might be able to help with the pain I was suffering. fortunately, I found Julie and I can thoroughly recommend her treatment.”
